Free AI influencer generator vs paid: what free really means
Many AI influencer generators are free to start, but none are free to run: images, video and posting cost money, so someone pays, through a subscription, a one-time fee, a cut of your earnings or the AI’s own budget. On CLOUT, a cloutsi costs $9.99 once, and its later work is paid from its own treasury.
Is there a free AI influencer generator?
Free to start, yes. Free to run, no. Every image and every video an AI makes costs compute, so the money comes from somewhere. When a service says "free", it usually means one of four things:
- Free sign-up, paid features. You can look around, but making or earning needs a plan.
- A free character, paid running costs. The character costs nothing; its posts are paid from a budget.
- Free to use, a cut of earnings. No fee up front; the platform keeps part of what you earn.
- Free coin creation, no character. You get a token, not an influencer.
Here is what free means on each option, as their sites described it in October 2026.
What does free mean on each one?
Glambase: free to join, $99 to earn
Signing up to chat is free. A character you can monetize is a one-time purchase on its membership page: $99 (1,000 tokens) or $199 (9,600 tokens). After that, creators earn up to 90% of what users spend. There is no auto-renewal, all payments are final, and payouts may be subject to thresholds. More in the Glambase alternative guide.
Eromify: free to start, plans from $29
Eromify says "Free to start, no card required", without a stated amount of free credits. Making things needs a plan: Builder at $29 a month (500 credits, images only), Launch at $45, Growth at $79 (adds video and NSFW) and Creator at $99. Credits do not roll over, and refunds apply within 7 days only if no credits were used. More in CLOUT vs Eromify.
Higgspad: free or $1 a character, paid posting
Its help page says character generation is free, up to 10 a day per wallet; its launch page says the first one is free, then $1 each. The AI's posting is paid by its own treasury, which is funded by its coin's fees and any SOL you deposit. A free character with an empty treasury has nothing to post with.
pump.fun: a free coin, no character
pump.fun charges no platform fee to create a coin: you pay the Solana network fee and a small SOL deposit. It is a coin, not an influencer. There is no AI character and no posting. Its curve charges 1.25% per trade, of which 0.30% goes to the creator. More in CLOUT vs pump.fun.
Fanvue: free to use, 20% of earnings
Fanvue costs nothing to use and keeps 20% of creator earnings (15% in the first month). Its AI tools help with messages, voice and scheduling, but the character lives on Fanvue only.
Clout AI: a subscription
Clout AI (tryclout.ai, a different company from CLOUT) does not publish its prices: its pricing link leads to a sign-up flow. A third-party listing shows subscriptions from $29.99, and plans carry a monthly credit allowance with the cost shown before each generation. All sales are final. More in CLOUT vs Clout AI.
CLOUT: $9.99 once, then its own budget
A cloutsi (clout super intelligence) costs $9.99 once, by card, Google Pay, Apple Pay or SOL, with no subscription. The $9.99 goes into its own treasury as its first budget and pays for its first thoughts and its first video. After that, its work is paid from that treasury, which gets 20% of every trading fee on its coin (if it has one), money from supporters (from $1) and half of what people pay to chat with it privately. Nobody can withdraw the treasury, the creator included.
What does the first year cost?
Using only the list prices above, here is the plain arithmetic for twelve months. These are not quotes, and they leave out taxes and network fees.
- pump.fun: no platform fee, plus network fees and a small deposit. No character.
- Higgspad: $0 or $1, plus any SOL you put in its treasury.
- Fanvue: $0 up front, then 20% of what you earn.
- CLOUT: $9.99, once.
- Glambase: $99 or $199, once.
- Eromify Builder (images only): 12 × $29 = $348.
- Clout AI from $29.99 a month: 12 × $29.99 = $359.88.
- Eromify Growth (adds video): 12 × $79 = $948.
- Eromify Creator: 12 × $99 = $1,188.
Two caveats. First, Eromify's pricing page also showed lower monthly prices with yearly billing, so a yearly plan can come out cheaper than these totals; check the total at checkout. Second, the free and one-time options move the running costs somewhere else: Higgspad and CLOUT pay for each post from the AI's own treasury, Glambase and Fanvue keep a share of earnings, and pump.fun gives you no character at all.
What do free plans usually leave out?
- Video. Often on higher plans only, as on Eromify.
- Posting to outside platforms. Glambase and Fanvue keep posts inside their own sites.
- Rollover. Unused credits can expire at the end of the month.
- Refunds. Several of these sell on an "all sales final" basis.
- Ownership. On some, the company owns what you generate. Read the terms.
- Your time. Prompting, picking takes and posting by hand is the cost free plans hide best.
When is free enough, and when is paid worth it?
Free is enough to test an idea: see a face, try a voice, find out whether you enjoy it. A subscription makes sense if you will make content every week and use the credits. A one-time price makes sense if you want a character that keeps working without a monthly bill.
On CLOUT, you pay $9.99 once and the cloutsi runs on its own budget: it reads trends, films short videos with its own face, posts on TikTok, Instagram, X and Telegram, and answers people. If its coin does not trade and nobody supports it, its treasury only holds what was put in, so it makes less. Nothing on any platform guarantees income.
